3 Questions: Meet the Soloist
WSO: Do you have a favorite Christmas tradition/memory from growing up?
Ashley Fabian: I’m so looking forward to returning to WSO for Home for the Holidays! I come from a family of singers, so my favorite Christmas tradition is gathering around the Christmas tree and singing our favorite carols.
WSO: Are you looking forward to performing with the symphony again?
Ashley: I am really excited about singing with the WSO again for this concert. Singing the Fauré Requiem in April was an incredible experience, and I am very happy to return.
WSO: Congratulations on your engagement! Do you have any special plans for the holidays this year?
Ashley: Thank you, we are so excited! My fiancé is a professional tenor. We are planning on spending Christmas with my family in Charleston, SC this year, and will be married in 2020.
