The Summer Chamber Music Series presents the final concert of the summer featuring Pittsburgh Chamber Brass on Thursday, August 20, 2026, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Unity Chapel in Latrobe. The ensemble includes Adam Gillespie, Trumpet; Julia Nainiger, Trombone; Larry Dine, Tuba; Andrew Symington, Horn, and Jay Villella, Trumpet.
“We are thrilled to perform in the historic Unity Chapel to wrap up this incredible concert series. The audience will hear music by living American composers in recognition of America’s 250th including works by Sacco, Higdon, and McMichael, and a premiere of a new work by Andy McFarlane,”said Adam Gillespie, trumpet and WSO Academy of Music Director.

Pittsburgh Chamber Brass strives to present fun, engaging, and inspiring performances of brass chamber music for a wide variety of concerts and educational audiences throughout the Pittsburgh region. Founded in 2023 by five accomplished freelancers, our repertoire is focused on music written or arranged for brass quintet ranging from the Renaissance through contemporary music.
