Get To Know Your Friday Evening Music Club with an Evening of Great Performances
On Friday May 15, come join us in Campana Chapel on the campus of Pitt-Greensburg for a concert given by and for our Westmoreland county community. We are looking forward to many of our members returning the stage, and especially for so many new performers offering music for the first time. Keep an eye here for the full program, here soon.
The Friday Evening Music Club was founded in 1944 to promote the performing arts in Westmoreland County and give musicians a place to practice and socialize. It is a community of area musicians, some of whom are private music teachers, but many who work in other fields and enjoy music-making as an avocation.
We sponsor five recitals per year, with members sharing music performance with each other. Some club members simply enjoy being part of the organization by attending the concerts. And we always have some coffee and sweets after!
