The WSO kicks off the 55th season with award-winning pianist Janice Carissa performing Rachmaninoff’s soaring, monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 . The evening opens with Khachaturian’s romantic ballet Adagio of Spartacus and Phrygia and Tchaikovsky’s dramatic tale of forbidden love – Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture. Daniel Meyer, Artistic Director conducting.
