Summer with the Symphony

The Summer Philharmonic Wind Ensemble, founded in 2013 by Morrie Brand, current music director, is a program offering of the WSO Academy of Music. It is comprised of area band directors, WYSO alum and other area musicians by invitation. It meets once a week for six seeks in June and July, and presents a concert free of charge to the general public.

Join us for a three-concert series supporting the Youth Orchestra Program. Admission is just $15 at the door. The chapel is accessible and air-conditioned. Underwritten by the Charles F. and Mary Esther Sawyer Music Fund of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church.
