Summer Sparklers: Salute to America’s 250th Free Outdoor Concert July 5

Categories: Concert

The WSO presents Summer Sparklers, Salute to America’s 250th an outdoor concert, on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Clair Park’s Robertshaw Amphitheater in downtown Greensburg.  The concert is free, and donations are accepted.

Conducted by Daniel Meyer, this free one-hour concert features a festive mix of patriotic favorites, movie music, Broadway classics, and our traditional grand finale, Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, the program includes The Star-Spangled Banner, Armed Forces Salute, Stars and Stripes Forever, and Gould’s American Salute. Audiences will also enjoy music from Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, and many other selections.

Families are invited to come early for an Instrument Petting Zoo, provided by Brighton Music from 5:30 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. It’s a hands-on musical experience where kids can play different instruments under the guidance of a musician.

“Everyone at the WSO is excited to share a fun-filled concert for audiences of all ages. We invite families, friends, and neighbors to bring a lawn chair or blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy this free one-hour musical celebration,” said Michael Rozell, Executive Director.
