The Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra (WSO), under the artistic direction of Daniel Meyer, announces its 2025-2026 season beginning on October 18, 2025. The WSO will now present seven Saturday evening concerts at the Palace Theatre in Greensburg. The WSO also presents The Nutcracker featuring the Texture Ballet with an added evening performance on Friday, December 12.
“Our audience spoke, and we listened,” said Michael Rozell, Executive Director. “We’re thrilled to introduce two new pops concerts this season: The Music of John Williams and The Best of Broadway. We’ve also added an additional performance of The Nutcracker to meet the growing demand for the region’s only live-orchestra production. This strategy is clearly resonating; we’ve already seen a double-digit increase in subscription sales compared to last season.”
