DESCRIPTION:Offered through a partnership between the Seton Hill University Community Arts Program and the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra Academy of Music. \n\nThe Summer Music Institute is a one week camp open to all band\, orchestra\, vocal and piano students from grades 6-12.\nStudents will work with Seton Hill University (SHU) faculty and music majors\, as well as members of the WSO\, at SHU’s beautiful Performing Arts Center.\n\nJuly 6-10\, 2026\nM-F 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.\nSeton Hill Performing Arts Center \nRegistration Deadline in June 25\, 2026

SUMMARY:WYSO Spring Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join our young musicians for a free concert. The WYSO Philharmonic\, conducted by Adam Gillespie\, will perform selections from Rogers/Hammerstein\, Katie O’Hara LaBrie and Schubert.  The Philharmonia\, conducted by Jorie Butler-Geyer will play Tchaikvosky’s Little Russian March\, Scott Joplin’s Strenuous Life and Piazzolla’s Libertango. \nThe concert also features the Wind Symphony\, led by conductor Ryan Czekaj\, and the String Ensemble\, conducted by Sarah Ferrell. The evening’s performance also includes works by Bach\, Handel and Beethoven. \nThe concert is free and open to the public – general admission.
