It explores the four basic periods of classical music – Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary. Emphasis is placed on recognizing the various style periods and learning terminologies that improve one’s knowledge and appreciation for what is happening in the music. The goal is to have the listener be more comfortable when listening to classical music.
