How do I buy tickets
?
Tickets may be purchased online, by phone, 724-837-1850 or in person at 951 Old Salem Roadduring normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The ticket office window at the Palace Theater is also open one hour before concerts and accepts cash only.
Where can I eat before the concert?
The Side Bar is now offering a Symphony Special: bring your WSO ticket on March 12 or April 16 before the 8:00 concert, and with the purchase of a dinner, you will receive a free dessert! Cafe Rialto (724-834-8010), J Cork’s (724-961-0434), One Eleven and The Supper Club are also close to the Palace Theatre and offer pre-concert dining.
What is appropriate concert dress?
When you attend a WSO concert or event at the Palace Theatre, you’ll see patrons wearing everything from jeans to evening wear. Most patrons are dressed in business or business casual attire, but there is no specific dress code. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable!
Where do I park?
The Bell Parking Garage is one block west of the Palace Theatre on East Otterman St. and is free. Street parking is also available.
What if I am running late for the concert?
Delays happen and the Palace Theatre ushers do their very best to get you to your seat to enjoy your concert. An usher will guide you to your seat during an appropriate pause in the music.
When do I clap?
Musicians love to hear applause at the end of a piece–it’s how they know you appreciate their artistic efforts! If a piece has several parts, called movements, the audience saves their applause until the very end of the piece in order not to break the mood. When the conductor lowers his baton and turns to the audience, the piece is over.
How do I make a donation?
